Marketing & Publicity

Marketing and publicity was a natural progression for my career. My writing experience fed into this role and the gathered experience runs back into my words – it’s a constant learning cycle.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work on some truly diverse and exciting films. From managing social campaigns to organising bespoke events, I look forward to each week in the UK film industry.

Please see below for a selection of campaign highlights :

.

Monty Python

.

For over two years, I manned the Monty Python social channels. Week by week I prepped a social media strategy to keep the humour alive, entertaining existing fans and encouraging new users across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and TikTok.

During my time running Monty Python, I also oversaw various social campaigns related to the IP including a Happy Socks clothing line, Life of Brian Easter re-release, and Bristol’s annual Slapstick Festival.

.

Film AlUla

.

Working with an international client expanded my horizons tenfold; AlUla is becoming the next best filming location. And Film AlUla was at the forefront of developments.

Throughout 2021 and 2022, I assisted in growing the online presence for Film AlUla, increasing awareness across Instagram and LinkedIn predominantly by advertising to production companies. Established by the Royal Commission for AlUla, this dream destination in Saudi Arabia hosted the likes of the Game of Thrones follow-up House of the Dragon, the Tom Holland-led Cherry, and Kandahar starring Gerard Butler.
